This quick version slicer/shredder attachment is well designed for all series of KitchenAid stand mixers (incl. tilt-head and bowl-lift types) where it allows quick and simple installation and removal.
As your culinary need, most of firm vegetables, fruit and nuts can show a good effect through all 3 different sharp slicing/shredding blades, like cheese, potato, cabbage, zucchini, beet, cucumber, carrot, apple, hard chocolate, walnut, etc.
The plastic attachment parts should only be washed by hand. The drum blades are dishwasher safe and please mind they are sharp when cleaning up by hand.
With food grade plastic housing & pusher, aluminum rotor shaft and total stainless steel blades, it will help you prepare fresh ingredients for cooking efficiently in its long time service.
It is quite easy to install to and remove from stand mixer as other KitchenAid attachments do.
Once it starts, the blade will be rotating steadily in the housing due to the designed plum blossom socket for dynamical fastening.
Thanks to its creative design, it allows much more quickly to remove and change blades when the stand mixer is turned off.
