The refractometer is designed based on the principle that liquids of different concentrations have different refractive indices. It has the advantages of fast, accurate, light weight and small size.
Correction method: take a few drops of distilled water and place it on the detection edge, twist the zero adjustment screw to adjust the scale of the dividing line to 0%, and then wipe the detection environment clean, then the detection can be performed.
Usually the instrument has been calibrated and can be used directly, please do not twist the eyepiece forcefully.
How to use: Open the cover and carefully wipe the detection prism with a soft cloth. Take a few drops of the solution to be tested, place it on the detection prism, and gently close the cover to avoid bubbles and spread the solution over the surface of the prism. Point the instrument's light entrance plate at the light source or bright place, observe the field of view through the eyepiece, and turn the eyepiece adjustment hand wheel to make the blue and white boundary of the field of view clear.
The scale value of the dividing line is the concentration of the solution.
This product is equipped with a temperature compensation device, and the temperature automatic compensation range is 10 Celsius~30 Celsius, which eliminates the trouble of checking the temperature compensation table for correction.
